Here at Tate House

We provide a very high standard of quality wool carpets throughout our home, we would like to think our guests would respect our ‘No Shoes Policy’ during wet periods at the very least. If you feel uncomfortable about 'wiping your feet' or 'taking off your shoes when wet', then Tate House B & B is not for you. Thank you.

Deposit

A minimal ‘non-returnable’ deposit of the first night(s) stay is required for bookings. No reservation will be deemed as being made until the deposit has been received and a confirmation receipt has been issued.

Cancellation of Booking

If you cancel within 14 days of check-in, the balance of the booking is payable in full. However, if we are able to re-let the room(s) you would be refunded with a deduction of an admin fee of £30 plus any additional costs incurred in having to re let your room(s). You are strongly advised to have adequate travel insurance in place to cover all eventualities. In the event of a 'no-show', the total price of the reservation will be charged and is payable in full within 7 days of the initial check out date(s).

Final Payment of Account

Payment can be by bank cheques or sterling cash. I regret that I do not have credit card facilities at home. All cheques should be made payable to ‘Tate House B & B’.

Reckless Damage

We ask that you treat your accommodation here at Tate House with the upmost of respect. We retain the right to charge for the total cost(s) of rectification of any excessive soilage or damage you may cause to our property or furnishings. Any guests entering our home intoxicated are 100% fully liable for their actions.

Behaviour

For the consideration of all our guests we ask that you recognise and respect acceptable noise levels and behaviour. Unacceptable behaviour may result in termination of your booking without refund or compensation.

NO Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any part of my home. Notices are in place and failure to adhere will result in prosecution as stated by Law and a £100 cleaning charge will be payable without fail.
